Iris Lanz

Since the day I was born I’ve lived in Toblach, with the mountains in the backyard. As a kid, I started skiing at an early age and later on I also practised cross country skiing as a competitive sport. My father, he himself a mountain guide and cross country teacher, encouraged me to go mountaineering and cross country skiing.
During my studies in educational science I worked for several years as a teacher in middle school and, after graduating, as a teacher in a kindergarten day group in Bruneck.
However, I soon realized that I needed to be outdoors and that my calling really lies in nature and sports. So since 2003 I’ve been teaching cross country skiing in winter and guiding hikes during summer. I love to be in nature, whether on skies or by foot or, in my spare time, rock climbing.
It would be my pleasure to accompany you, in winter on cross country skies or in summer hiking, nordic walking or mountain biking!

For many years I’ve been working here in our ski rental and am happy to assist you in getting the right equipment together. As I personally enjoy being in nature all year round, I know my way around here very well and can give you excellent advice about the cross country trails and all other sport possibilities in our surroundings. It shall be my pleasure to greet you in our ski rental shop!
